Amnesia: The Dark Descent
This is a Fictional Games horror game that was released in 2010. The atmosphere used in these games makes it horrific and its storyline is brilliant. It is about a man named Daniel who goes to a haunted castle in Prussia only to forget who he is. He can feel a supernatural presence but there’s no way for him to fight it. He eventually opts to practice death rituals in a bid to survive.
Hello Neighbor
This is one of the horror games that can be played on multiple platforms such as Xbox One, PC, PS4, Android, Switch and iOS. Although the game has different graphics on each of the platforms, the atmosphere remains the same. The 2017 game is about a young boy who notices that his neighbor has a secret in the basement. He then comes up with a plan to go inside and check it out. However, the AI used by the antagonist can use behavioral patterns to set up traps making the game thrilling.
Alien: Isolation
This 2014 game impressed most people who didn’t think that an alien game could still be interesting. Set on the space, this game tries to predict the future. You can play Amanda who gets separated from her team and is subsequently forced to enter Sevastopol Station. She finds that the communication systems aren’t working and the station is under the control of Facehuggers. The only option is to hide from these aliens because there are no chances of defeating them even if you choose to fight.
Dying Light
This is a 2015 zombie game that has zombies as vulnerable creatures that has “the art of parkour”. As you explore the city at night, you’ll have to encounter mutants who are stronger and scarier.
Dead Space
This is another popular horrors games from EA. There are different versions released in 2008, 2011 and 2013 respectively. A space engineer contacts an alien virus that turns everyone into “Necromorphs”. Survivors either go mad or agree with alien manipulations.
